Payment data: handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information
Usage data: books generated, covers created, selected languages, and similar actions
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device info, referral sources

We use your personal data to:

Provide and maintain the core functionality of Inkwell
Manage subscriptions and billing
Improve our service based on usage patterns
Send you transactional emails and (if opted in) marketing updates

Stripe, for payment processing
Third-party AI services (e.g. OpenAI, Replicate) to generate content, covers, and translations
Analytics providers, in aggregated or anonymized form

5. Data Retention

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days (unless legally required otherwise).
